Investment in Cellid, Inc.

"TOKYU-CONST GB Innovation Fund L.P. is pleased to announce that it has made an investment in Cellid, inc. which is a start up that provides both hardware and software products, namely a display module integrating high efficiency waveguide AR glasses that have global top-level performance of 60-degree FOV (Field of View) and ultra-small projector, and VSLAM (visual SLAM*2) software solution for high precision space analysis. Tokyu Construction is currently promoting digital transformation strategies in line with our long-term business plan for 2030, which designates “digital technology” as a major source of our competitive advantage. In this respect, we expect that this investment will further accelerate our digital transformation strategy in the construction business by crossing digital technologies such as BIM/CIM with Visual SLAM. We will also deepen our collaboration with Cellid with a view to jointly developing and marketing DX solutions in the future. We are considering starting a PoC (proof of concept) of a DX solution using visual SLAM at our construction site within 2023. Moving forward, we will continue to engage in new activities beyond the boundaries of the construction industry by investing in promising venture companies in Japan and overseas."
